The Radio Bridge Wireless Dry Contact Sensor is a practical device that detects whether two wires are connected or not. Upon detecting a short or open circuit, it sends an alert through a wireless network. The built-in radio component communicates directly with the LoRaWAN wireless network. The sensor has two types of tamper detection: enclosure tamper and wall mount tamper, suitable for indoor installations. In terms of power, this sensor can make over 200,000 transmissions on a single battery and the battery life ranges between 5 to 10 years depending on usage. The battery is replaceable by the user. The sensor features an integrated internal antenna and supports over-the-air configuration in the field. It also automatically reports low battery levels and provides health reporting of the sensor itself.
